Relax Home keeps all guest rooms as non smoking. By having non smoking rooms, this preserves the life of the rooms meaning curtains and bedding don't need to be replaced as often and walls don't have to be repainted as regularly. By reducing these cleaning materials and costs, hotels with a no smoking room policy reduce the amount of harsh cleaning chemicals, water and paint that is used on an annual basis as well preserving the life of the room and it's furnishings therefore reducing excess consumption of all elements.
The property also features a beautiful, impressive hard wood stair case that gives guests access to the rooms. The owners of Relax Home have bought and reused old railway sleepers which means that not only is Phukets heritage and history being kept by featuring them in the staircase but also the wood is being reused and recycled preventing further forests from being cut down.
